It all started at two in the morning while I was watching my rescue greyhound, Thelma, attempt to get comfortable in her sleep. Like most people with a sighthound, I was obsessed with finding her the perfect pair of pyjamas. The more I looked, I realised that most dog clothes simply weren't made with greyhounds in mind.

So, I decided to design something better.

YamJimJams was created with one simple goal in mind: to merge comfort, practicality and personality. I wanted something better and more roach-proof, as we all know our hounds love to lay in odd positions.

Our jammies are made from soft, breathable 95% cotton and 5% elastane blend, giving them plenty of stretch while keeping them cosy and comfortable. They're not only zoomie proof but also nap proof.

But comfort was only half of the idea. I wanted YamJimJams to feel fun. Every print is carefully chosen because I want your hound's personality to shine through.

And because I know how much our dogs mean to us, I don't want YamJImJams to just be another dog clothing brand. I want it to be a little community for people who understand that their greyhound isn't 'just a dog'. They're your alarm clock, your duvet thief, your walking companion and, somehow, the boss of the entire house.

From Thelma's late-night wardrobe crisis to what YamJimJams is becoming today, this brand will always be about making life a little cosier for our wonderful hounds.
